A lot of companies are investing a lot into digital marketing, paid promotion in social media, but in many cases results are not so good, as might be.
To my experience, there is 5 key reasons, why digital communication fails
Attempt to be "individual". The key idea of any marketing specialist is to be different, other words differentiate or die. However, making something unique and different may mislead to loosing of the message they want to deliver.
Wrong understanging of social media purpose. In my experience, many social media specialists percieve Facebook, Instagram or YouTube as a special place, where the message will be absorbed because "everybody is there". It is wrong. All the social media is simply a tool, and there is no way to achieve your customer mind simply being "at right place"
Misunderstanding of a way, peoples comsume content. I dviide content strategy on 2 main parts: I call it "push content", where you publish on social media, and you push your message to customer, and "pull content", which is mainly related to search engines, where your customer in active search of something. These content type have absolutely different approach in messaging, and quite often used wrong.
